I am a political scientist specialising in comparative politics, with a focus on how parliaments work and how they hold governments to account. I am also interested in social science research methods, particularly in developing and applying mixed-methods research designs to explore comparative questions.​​

In January 2026 I joined the School of Social Sciences at Birkbeck, University of London, as Lecturer in Politics and Qualitative Research Methods. I am also an Honorary Research Fellow at the Constitution Unit and the Department of Political Science at UCL.
